UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS RESIDENTS - WELCOME!
Like many residents of University Heights, you're probably irritated by the noise, air pollution, and disruptions to work and family life caused by gas leaf blowers in our neighborhoods. We say it's time to end it! But we need community involvement.
We'd like to start by getting the City to restrict gas leaf blower use during the summer months (most air alert days occur then as well.) Here's what you can do:
- Help us post flyers to raise awareness and announce our presence in the University Heights community
- Help us get signatures on an online petition urging City Council to restrict gas leaf blowers (more on that soon).
- Contact City Council members whenever you have a complaint about gas leaf blower noise or dust. Your voice matters!
Thank you for helping however you can. Nothing will change if we do not act.
We will move forward with compassion for fellow residents and for the natural environment. We are in this together.
